I recently became a OnePlus 3T owner because my OG Nexus 5 finally started failing on me enough to face facts and part ways with it. And while I’ve been basking in the glory of eleven (11) hour battery life there is another feature I’ve recently wondered how I ever lived without. Continuous screenshot.
It is such a little and obvious feature but right now feels more important that copy and paste to me now. I can take screenshots of whole parts of a web page to share. This feature would have made me even more obnoxious on Google Plus #neverforget .
I still wish the $200+ price difference was insignificant enough for me to stay in a pure Google world. Or at least I wish Google would bring back the Google Experience phones (GE) or sell a pure GE distro you could install yourself. But I do feel fight at home on a One Plus. I’m just reminded from time to time I’m not completely “At Home”. But then I get another 11 hours off my battery and I smile again.
I thought I was excited about the Batman and Harley Quinn movie. I know “In Production” always means at least a year away. And I’ll have to reread the original material and finally read all the Watchmen one shots that came out. And the movie too. I don’t remember being a geek being this hard back in the day.
It is amazing the things you fall in love with and can’t live without when you get older. Back in the day as long as I had my Playstation and a six pack of Oodles of Noodles I was golden. Now if I’m in the kitchen and battling a can I need my single wheel can opener.
Yes yes I know. What is the difference in can openers. Well let me school you. First there was light, central air, The Internet and then the single wheel can opener. The most amazing things in the universe in that order. No more fighting though cans with jagged edges to get to soup or beans or other immortal formally perserable items. With a couple smooth cranks of the wrist you have a pretty opened container. It’s like magic I tell you.
In addition to the original five, those of you living in Dallas-Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C., Houston, Atlanta, Phoenix, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Miami-Ft. Lauderdale, Orlando-Daytona Beach-Melbourne, and Charlotte will soon be able to join in on the experience. Support for YouTube TV will be rolling out to these areas in the coming weeks, so stay tuned (heh).
Hulu Live channels are pretty. It was way better than my experience with Sling. But the extra money spent on the service is noticable. And to get more than three viewers concurrently it’s down right expensive. So I am more than ready to hop on YouTube TV. FINALLY
